A Vision for the Future

To meet the needs of our customers now and well into the future, we’ve developed a Masterplan for the Estate that ensures it continues to be a world class hub for business.

At  the heart of the new Estate will be new buildings, public squares, recreational spaces, more cafes, a hotel, conference facilities and a skills and training centre.

High environmental standards are being set for the Masterplan. The design of the buildings and materials used will help businesses reduce their carbon footprint.

Our Vision also aims to deliver one of the most environmentally-advanced business locations in the world. Buildings will be designed, built and powered using leading-edge technology to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint, and there will be a commitment to recycle building materials throughout construction.

All feedback from the public consultation held in July 2008 is being reviewed by the Masterplan team.  It is the team’s intention to inform stakeholders of any changes that are made before a planning application is submitted.
