Masterplan: Transport and Infrastructure

Investment in transport infrastructure is key to the future success of the Estate. A Transport Hub will be provided in the Central Area offering pick ups and drop-offs, connecting services to Slough as well as Burnham train station and Heathrow airport.

The proposed transport initiatives include:

• A dedicated Transport Manager within the new Transport Hub
• Bus passenger vehicles to local and regional residential areas
• Direct and frequent shuttle services around the Estate and to local stations
• Improved cycle network throughout the Estate and surrounding area
• New pedestrian routes and dedicated crossings
• Incentives to encourage car sharing, cycling and other sustainable travel choices
